problem to display '&' in a dropdown list

I have a BO which contains a 'Plain Text' attribute - Name, with Dynamic choices of 'Using existing attribute values as choices'. When create/edit this BO, the Name attribute is diplayed as a dropdown list. The dropdown list can not be loaded/displayed if the value of Name contain the character '&'. The '&' can be displayed in a query result without any problem.

Any clue to solve this problem? I am using V4.9 Build 1351.

Can you try this in the latest build? (you don't need to update if you don't want to - just install the latest build as an evaluation version in a separate directory). The problem could be fixed in the latest build but I cannot be certain...
