Image short cut in reports

There is an issue with images file short cuts in reports.

I have created a very simple bsv consisting of two BO's one (ImageList) is an image list with name (plain text) and picture attributes. The other (TestObject) has three attributes name, description, shortcut to image from other BO.

I then have a query that drives the report that looks up all BO's in TestObject. The report is completely built by the Aware IM configuration tool with no changes by me. It contains all three attributes from the TestObject in the details section.

Once the report is triggered it throws the following error.

'Error filling report ../DocTemplates/BASTestDomainrpt_1.2/DocTemplates/101/101/RDDoc32414.rdd Error generating PDF report : Report java.io.IOException java.awt.Image fetch aborted or errored'

This is a small example of a problem experienced in a much larger bsv.

The bsv is being sent to support.

We tested it using the latest build and the BSV sent to us. Everything works fine. Maybe you need to update to the latest build.

I tried it with build 1339 and received the following error.

Error filling report ../DocTemplates/BASTestDomainrpt_1.0/DocTemplates/101/101/RDDoc32414.rdd Error generating PDF report : Report java.io.IOException java.awt.Image fetch aborted or errored

I will test it again once I have upgraded to 1349.

Looks to be something specific to the setup of your server, but we cannot tell you what it is. The library we use tries to read the image stream but the URL used to do this is not accessible. This works fine on our system.
