Close Form After Submitting New Object Attributes

Hi,

After capturing data for a new object, I press save/submit, how can I make the new object capture form disappear/close when I submit the new object attributes instead of returning to the clean form it presents in the begginning of the create object process?

You can achieve your desired functionality of the form closing after creating an object by using a process with the action 'ENTER NEW'. Be sure to use the default option of the form displaying in a pop-up window. See the Users Guide for more detail.

Thanks Bob,

I have created the rule in a process with the content(If Issue IS NEW Then
ENTER NEW Issue USING Main), where Main is the form I'm currently using to capture new Issue object instances.

But the form clears and presents itself when I submit. I want it to close. I don't get enough detail in the user guide to enable me to do this.

Tom is right. IS NEW in the process is wrong. Just use ENTER NEW.

I have now removed the IS NEW in the process. but I'm not sure where I should trigger the process?
