Export Business Space to xml

Support,
While attempting to export a business space to xml I found that it does not work. The end result is still a bsv file.

Can you show the steps to export to XML? I've never done this.

Sure

Right click the business space version that you wish to export.
Click 'Export'
In the Save dialog that pops up click the drop down for 'File of Type' selection. Select 'Business Space version (*.xml)'
Name the export file
Click Save

The same as exporting a bsv file but the file type selection is changed.

It still outputs a bsv file. I tried changing the extention to xml with no luck. Viewing the file in notepad still seems to produce what I would expect in a bsv.

Try just changing extension from BSV to XML

Still nothing.

IE gives the following error:
The XML page cannot be displayed
Cannot view XML input using style sheet. Please correct the error and then click the Refresh button, or try again later.

An invalid character was found in text content. Error processing resource

Firefox gives this error:
XML Parsing Error: not well-formed
Location: file:///C:/Documents%20and%20Settings/pit.xml
Line Number 1, Column 1:
