Global Variable for Business Object

Hi All,

Is there any way to create a global variable for a business object? For example I have a business object Apartment. For each Apartment it will have a field called Tax. Every Apartment will have the same Tax value (user only need to enter the value once, then it will be referred to all Tax field in all Apartment records).

SystemSettings and RegularUser attributes work as global variables. SystemSettings would be across all users and LoggedInRegularUser is for values that would be stored for 1 user.

Both of these BOs are always in context.

So I can create another form in System Settings for user to enter Tax data and this Tax data value will be global variable? (which value can be refferred by Tax attribute in all Apartment records)

I did this but when I tried to load the form (to enter the Tax data), an error message pops up "Unable to edit/view unresolved object".
How can I create a global variable that's able to be edited?

Standard | Systems Settings -- to create an instance of SystemSettings BO. Once one instance is created, it can then be edited.
