cancel or clear button on create form

Can I and if so how do I had a 'cancel' or 'clear' button to the BO create form? I can see where to add a delete action but I would like to just be able to clear the form for a restart.

Could you just have a form operation that would run a process to redisplay the form?

I suppose I could do that but 'cancel' and/or 'clear' are pretty much standard with any 'create new' function. Wasn't there a cancel function in previous versions? I think an evaluation copy I used a while back had that built in. In addition when I add a delete action and specify below the form thinking it might just establish a handy button along side 'Save' and 'Back' it puts it at the top of the form anyway. Is there a way around that?

Alternative is to use custom buttons for Save & Clear form. You can put them anywhere you want on your form.... described in the user guide on on the forums.

I'm not finding anything on putting custom buttons on a form in the user guide. The references seem to be circuitous or I'm missing it or searching for the wrong term or something.

Can you point me to it directly?

Java Script and HTML elements are way over my head. I don't even understand where in the configuration tool I'd place that code if I knew how to create it.

I'll have to stick with what the defaults are for now. Still there ought to be a 'Cancel' button on the standard create object form.

If you start creation by means of a process and you have "Allow user to cancel process" the cancel button will appear.

This will terminate the process and close the form, discarding any changes.

This is the only Standard "Cancel" button within Aware that I have come across.
