When running our application with SSL there is an EI7 & EI8 issue. When you run a query from the home screen menu bar (Such as : Find All BusinessObjects ORDER BY BusinessObject.Name) You will get the following message from IE.
Security Warning
Do you want to view only the webpage content that was delivered securely?
This webpage contains content that will not be delivered using a secure HTTPS connection. which could compromise the security of the entire webpage.
The issue is that most of our users will be accessing the application with IE. This issue makes the application appear not secure to the users.
There is a switch in IE that can be switched to accomplish this but it does not make sense to have to walk every user of the application through this change.
