PayPal return path issue

Hi,

I am just implementing PayPal payment functionality to a bsv and everthing works well until you click on the return to vendor button. Paypal is returning the user to the wrong page where all that you see is 4 small squares and the business space does not pickup the response from PayPal.

The issue is being caused by the fact that 1. I am running the business space in https rather than http and 2. I am running the business space in a custom folder but it is getting returned to the default AwareIM folder as you can see:

Sending URL: https://www.iportsecure.com:8443/iPort/logonAdmin.aw

Receiving URL:http://www.iportsecure.com:8443/AwareIM/urlRequest.aw?actionType=url_service_action&BAS_PROCESS_ID=59248&BAS_SUCCESS=true

Could you please let me know which files I need to modify to correct this?

I am afraid you won't be able to change anything. This looks like a bug and we'll have a look at it.

Hi,

I am having a different problem now, but still a problem.

When I click on the 'Return to xxx' button in PayPal I am returned to the following url: http://www.iportsecure.com:8443/iPort/urlRequest.aw?actionType=url_service_action&BAS_PROCESS_ID=15&BAS_SUCCESS=true (It should be https, I am not sure if this matters or not)

and I am displayed the contents of an xml file: - <root>

<login_action_return>
<failure timeout="true">Session has timed out</failure>
</login_action_return>
</root>

Could it be timed out because the session is https, not http? Incidentally, when I tried it in Firefox, when I clicked on the button, Firefox did not know what to do with a url to an aw file and asked me what program I wanted to use. Is this normal?

Any ideas?

Hi,

I rename the default folder name awareim to newfoldername, now when i run paypal via my application

in this URL is return with default name, could you please tell where to change this part too, so it get redirects to newfoldername

want to replace 'AwareIM' with 'newcustomname' of above receiving URL.

Please comment if can we do with the current version.

If I am reading this thread right, this was fixed in version 4.7 and you are running 4.6
