I have an SSL cert from Thawte up and running with tomcat/aware. The issue I am running into now is that tomcat only serves up HTTPS pages if I launch Aware IM from the control panel. If I setup JBoss, Tomcat & AwareIM as services using the InstallService.bat file and then start them (JBoss first, then Tomcat, Then AwareIM) only http pages can be served up.

Everything works as expected when the services are started from the Aware IM Control Panel.

This is most likely outside Aware IM. We are using a "Wrapper" by Tanuki software to run as a Windows service. So this is something between this software and Tomcat. I know that it is ultimately our problem, but if you want to find an immediate solution try Googling for "Tanuki Tomcat wrapper" etc. Please let us know if you find something.
