Support of different languages in V.4.5

As I voted for the support of multi-language, I just spent a couple of hours to try out Version 4.5 - build 1184. Using CRM sample application.

Problems noted in the configuration tool:

. section Locale, right-click, New: only works when empty. Afterwards, you can only Copy-Paste to add another Locale instance.

. Locale configuration, button Import, select a .lcl file: doesn't seem to do anything

. Locale configuration, button Refresh: doesn't seem to refresh, new attribute in BO Customer+ form Editing is not inserted in the String list

. String list - Customer translated to "Client" will not be used when you Edit a customer (Form caption) but will when you create a new customer !

Problems in Operation mode:

. Attributes with restricted List of choices will not allow the selection of the translated "choice"

The latter could be a more difficult point as this kind of attributes are likely to be used in queries/rules...

For this point, I'm opening a separate topic in the general section : multiple choices in different languages.

Of course, I appreciate what's already been done and just hope to help a little.

I had a similar problem with Locale's when I installed v4.5 build 1183, but when i reinstalled with build 1184 (For IE8 Support) the problem with Locale's disappeared. Not sure if this was just a fluke or if one of the other fixes in the new build maybe fixed the Locale error.

I haven't as yet tested the attributes with restricted choices so I can't state whether it works or not with that problem.

Which build number are you running? Can you try it in the latest build AND with a new business space? Maybe there is some locale-related problem in the BSV that you are running induced by a bug in one of the previous builds.

What you are describing indicates that your locale support doesn't work at all. This is certainly not the case in the latest build.
