User-defined choice list dropdown issue

I have a number of User-defined choice lists dropdowns set up that use to allow the user to enter the first character and display matches below.

This works when I preview the form when locked for editing but dosn't work in Test or Published mode any more, you have to select the dropdown to list the choices.

We have tested this on our systems and everything works as expected. Are you sure it is a problem? Please check that you ticked "Fetch records dynamically as user types" checkbox on the FORM where you are using it (quite often people change the settings on the attribute forgetting that they have provided different settings on the form)

I can't find that option?

I have an attribute defined as Plain Text, I have then entered some choices for the field then checked 'Other values Allowed' on 'Presentation I have selected under Other 'Allow users to add and edit choices', which puts an icon next to the dropdown.

This is the same on the form. When I preview the for it works but not in test or published.

OK. I misunderstood the problem. I thought you were talking about references represented as drop downs - for them it is possible to indicate an option where you type in the first letter and Aware IM prompts for existing values.

This is NOT available for user defined choices, though. If, for some reason, it works in preview, it is a bug in preview.
