Reporting in the Linux version of Aware IM

Hi all

Please help i'm trying to create a report in the linux version which wont allow me to telling me i should check the console for error's but in the console there is no details about the error

The exact same report works in the Win XP version perfectly.

What exactly is the message that says that you should check the console?

Document template Error:
Error compiling report, please see error in console window

The error in the console window is:

INFO: inputAdapter3.controller has commited 16200 transactions, which i don't think relates to the report.

I get the same error if i try to create a blank report not using a template and the error is only generated once i click create once i have created the layout, in the report designer

So you are running graphical Linux?

Can you view the output of the Aware IM Server in the Aware IM Control Panel? What's in it?

Good day yes i am running the graphical linus: suse 10.1 enterprise server.

In the configuration tool output viewer i get the error:

/opt/AwareIM/bin/Report.java:17: cannot access java.lang.Object

bad class file: /usr/java/jdk1.6.0_06/jre/lib/rt.jar(java/lang/Object.class)

class file has wrong version 49.0, should be 48.0

Please remove or make sure it appears in the correct subdirectory of the classpath.

This output indicates that you are running Java v1.6. You must have integrated Aware IM with this version of Java rather than using the native JDK that comes with Aware IM.

Aware IM has not been tested with this version of Java, so we cannot guarantee that everything will work. You need to use the version of Java that comes with Aware IM.
