Format of importing of timestamp issue

I have 2 fields that I am importing dates into -- Created & Last Changed. With each date attribute, the AwareIM format is M/d/yy h:mm a

AwareIM seems to be importing the times properly, but the dates are inconsistent. Below are 3 sets of records that I imported with the first column showing what the data looks lik in Excel CSV format.

Any ideas what I can do to make this work properly?

So what is inconsistent here?

Also, do you know that you can specify the format of your data column in the header of the import file, for example:

MyObject.MyDateAttribute MM-dd-yyyy

2/2/06 14:58 was imported to: 2/2/06 2:58 PM (this one was OK)

2/3/06 13:58 was imported to: 3/2/06 1:58 PM

6/28/06 10:13 was imported to: 4/6/08 10:13 AM

6/28/06 10:22 was imported to: 4/6/08 10:22 AM

Inconsistencies are noted in bold

I had not read about specifying the format of imported fields. I'll try that.
