The Configuration Tool has a function to compare two versions. This is wonderful, you get a list of all objects, forms, process and queries for which there are differences between the versions, with a link to view the difference and to go directly to the relevant item. However, I noticed that in many cases there is no real difference, only the timestamp (displayed as “Last modified” in the properties, and as “last_changed” in the XML data) is different. Ideally, if ONLY this timestamp is changed but no other properties/attributes/fields, I would prefer that the Compare function would ignore this difference and not include the item in the list. This would make the list much shorter and make it easier to view the real differences.
