startAwareIM.sh error

just downloaded AwareIM & untarred to /opt/AwareIM.
./startAwareIM.sh produced:

Exception in thread "main" java.lang.NoClassDefFoundError: com/bas/controlcenter/ControlCenterApp
:/opt/java/lib:/opt/java/jre/lib:/opt/java/lib:/opt/java/jre/lib

evidently the CLASSPATH variable was not set.

is this a limit in BASH ? any hint where to look?

btw i am trying to run this under archlinux

Which folder did you run startAwareIM.sh from?

You have to change to the /opt/AwareIM/bin folder and start the script from there.

yes did start in bin with "./startAwareIM.sh" also tried bash startAwareIM.sh

put an echo for CLASSPATH in the script & got
:/opt/java/lib:/opt/java/jre/lib:/opt/java/lib:/opt/java/jre/lib
everything else seems to set properly

Can you just try replacing the following line in the script

$JDK_HOME/bin/java -Xmx96m -Xms20m -cp $CLASSPATH com.bas.controlcenter.ControlCenterApp

with this one (just copy and paste this line):

Ah yes thanks - that got it going.
I'll also see if i can figure out why CLASSPATH was not set.
