How do I get data into XLSX formatted?

Here is a pic of a blank Excel template.

I have this exact data in an Aware Grid.
Yes, I can EXPORT TO XLSX from a Panel Operation Button, and now I have a local file with Aware data.
But it has no formatting, column widths, etc.

Is my only option to run a Macro?
I think I would want to run something when the Template is opened. I need to ask for the Aware output data filename and open that into a tab. The Macro will move each line into the Template ?

Any ideas?

I have written a render script to format the spreadsheet. So the resulting sheet exported by Aware is already formatted and no formatting in Excel should then be necessary.
The script does the following:

Replace the event handler connected to the AwareIM standard export to Excel button with a custom event handler
Change filename of the exported file
Change the sheet name
Remove hidden columns from the sheet (i.e. columns that are hidden on the grid in Aware)
Set column width for remaining columns
Set format of a number column to the same format as on screen
Add a row at the bottom of the sheet with the grand totals (including formatting)
