Chrome Version 128.0.6613.85 landed today for me. All seems to be well with the world (I didn't download the AIM update.)
That said, I'm still on 8.7 and nobody reported anything amiss - so maybe it's a V9 thing?
Also - a previously reported problem with slide-in menus not working on Android devices fixed itself a while ago (I did nothing) . I guess quality control leaves a lot to be desired these days
