Hello, I am able using a process to insert an image in a signature type attribute in order to be able to encircle sections of the image.

On the other hand, when I click on the Clear button so that I can circle the image in another way. Instead it's just the encirclements that disappear. the image also disappears.

Is there a way to make only the pencil lines disappear ?

Not sure if you can get access to the function that clears the pad but if nothing else you could probably hide the default clear button via some JS and then add your own button on top of or under the pad that refresh the form.

I need to do something similar to what you are doing, would you be able to share your process that inserts the image into the signature type attribute?
