Is there a reason I can't get a double-quote to show in the grid?

Just realized this after importing some data. Thought it was mangled on import, but its an aware/Kendo display issue, it seems.

I initially saw this back in 2018 here.

If I click on the row, the double quote appears correctly in the data in the FORM.
If I save the form, I see a '"' embedded in the field.
It seems to only be a problem displaying in the GRID.

I'm on latest build 8.6

Can a few of you edit a record and enter a " in a field and see how it shows in the grid?
Have I missed a disclaimer about this somewhere that this is a limitation?

Jaymer, I tested this and had the same result as you. I even put two quotes in a text field on the form and they displayed correctly on the form, but showed up as single quotes in the grid. It seems that the underlying data has the double quotes: when I check the data in the underlying SQL database, I can see the double quotes. So it may be a Kendo issue indeed.

Aware don´t like " in general so is probably related to how Aware "transfer" / parse text into the query.

Reported this in a bug report. Fixed in next build.
