Unrelated Query on A Form

<rant>I've wasted all morning searching this forum for a post that I saw some time ago and due to a combination of atrocious search functionality and the forum generally being p-poor I can't find it so apologies for asking something that I know is in this unsorted unfiled and untameable mess of stuff</rant>

How do I place a query on a form THAT IS NOT DIRECTLY RELATED TO THE BO.

I am trying to add reconciliation records to another BO. Until they are reconciled to that BO they are not related.

Also if the unrelated query is on that form is it able to utilise the BO's context?

I usually type like this in Google to search the awareim forum:

site:awareim.com/forum query inside form

Example: https://www.google.com/search?q=site:awareim.com/forum%20query%20inside%20form

This is a great tip. Should be the default search mechanism, phpBB search is just the WORST
