Is anyone else getting "completed" message too soon?

I have many processes set to go into background mode as soon as they start by setting "Background Process Interval" to 1.

I'm not seeing as the "complete" message right after it goes into background mode:

But when I check "Active Processes", the process is still clearly running.

Has anyone else experienced this?

In the example above, there is another process involved which has been called.

I'm experiencing the same "early" complete message in a simple process that FINDs and UPDATEs all instances of a BO.
