PICK ONE OR MORE FROM - Default to ALL SELECTED?

Is there a way to have PICK ONE OR MORE FROM default to all entries being SELECTED?

as far as I know, there is NO way, but there should be a check box ABOVE the others on the page and clicking that will select all records ON THE PAGE. (if multiple pages, then you are out of luck).

Of course you could do this programatically by asking the user do they want to select all and if so, instead of the pick list, just run a FIND BO WHERE ....

Thanks, Bruce. My users may deselect one or two out of a pageful, so defaulting to all selected would just save them the step of selecting all before deselecting. No biggy, but would have been preferable if possible. Thanks for the feedback. Helps to know what the options are. And thanks for the tip about multiple pages! Didn't know that.

so, tell them to click the box ABOVE the grid, to select all of them, then unselect the ones they don't want.

If the process requires the user to DESELECT the ones they don't want and they generally deselect a minority of the results presented then I would suggest that the workflow should be to prompt the user which ones they don't want to include add those to a non persisted BO and then add records where they are not in the non persisted BO. Then they will only be selecting the ones that they don't want to add.

This gives the same outcome and requires the least number of clicks
