I need a DIALER, like Hangouts

Doesn't necc. have to be called by Aware.
The goal is to be sitting on a record in your office, with a headset.
A Contact is on the screen.
You see a phone #.
Click on it and a dialer connects and you hear ringing and them answer in your headset.

Some telephony companies dial you back at a number and say "wait until we connect to your party".
Thats NOT what I want.

Want something that acts/works like Google Hangouts or Skype and makes a call over the net.
Any ideas?

Twilio places a call to both parties to connect you.

How about using the Skype extension? Click on the number and it will dial via Skype

Go to the Ranfab Demo app on the Aware IM Samples.

Edit the first customer Andrew Scott and stick your mobile number in.

Save and then click on the Number....

You can see the link tel: +1 1234567

That immediately invokes Skype for me.

thx, here's what I've found

1) The Skype for Web seems like an alternative to installing the full app - made no diff. on my Mac
2) On a Mac, a click on a phone# will launch Facetime - apparently this is a setting in the OS - I'm supposed to be able to tell Facetime to not be the default (and use Skype) but this is broke on my OS. New Skype install didn't help.
3) Will try on a PC

I'd rather call a specific app/plugin/etc. - but then that would reply on users installing something on their machine - in some environs. this would be acceptable. Do THIS or you don't get a dialer.
