Start Control Panel automatically

Does anyone know of a sure fire way to have the Control Panel start automatically after a Server Reboot?

I have been using Aware as a Service forever BUT....

Aware IM User Defined Documents based on an Excel 2016 Template ONLY work when running under the Control Panel. Will not work when Aware is running as a Service.

So.... I am ok reverting back to using the CP but need to be able to ensure it is running automatically if the server reboots for any reason.

You could open text editor and create a StartCP81.bat file and place it in Startup folder.

But that only works as soon as someone logs into the server.

Does not start automatically in the background..

Have also tried the Schedule the CP to start upon Server starting.... No Go. 🙁

What do you mean by "in the background"?
Does the server not require login credentials on reboot before it runs anything else?

So, the issue is how to have the server log admin in automatically after a reboot, then start the Aware IM Control Panel and then log the admin out leaving the CP running as admin.

Works perfectly. Only change I needed to make was insert a 1 minute delay before the log out task so that Tomcat has an opportunity to load.

This works EXACTLY like I needed and solved the User Defined Document using an Excel template issue also.

So, no need to run as a Service anymore.
