Styling a Slider Control as a Rating Bar

Wondering if anyone would be up to the following challenge and I am happy to negotiate an appropriate fee.

I need an Aware Slider Control to be styled and enabled to look and behave something like this...

This is only 5 bars but could be up to 10.
The text of each bar and the colours up to that level be displayed as the user hovers over the bar.
Once the bar is selected, then the underlying Number attribute is set to the value in the rating bar.

Mark, this component is built into Kendo UI, which you should not need to re-invent the wheel.

If Aware implements this and binds it to the backend datasource, then you're home free to use it. There are so many great components in Kendo that are not implemented.

Hi Ben.

The Slider control is already implemented in Aware.

But in this instance, I think it is not the slider control that I need to take control of.

In fact, I think it would be better implemented via a Combo Dropdown. That way, the text for each selected item would be available to display above the control as the mouse hovers over it.

I don't recall seeing the slider as an interactive component where user can provide/input data by sliding to left/right or up/down.

Thanks Mark. Was that implemented in 8? Since I'm still in 7.1 and that's probably why I didn't see it before.

I would have to check Ben but I am pretty sure it was introduced in V7
