If a channel supports the specific settings that need to be specified by the user in the Configuration Tool a Channel Settings Editor needs to be written (the fully qualified name of the editor must be returned by the class implementing IChannelType interface – see Writing a Source). The Channel Settings Editor is the class implementing the IChannelSettingsEditor interface.
