Chart resources

Post by hpl123 »

Hi all,
Found this charting package and it´s basically the same as Fusioncharts I think and we can probably also use (custom use) these in/with Aware IM applications (supports XML, CSV data input etc.).

Support, had a cooky idea. I saw anycharts offer special licensing to enable incorporating the anycharts charts into products so how about incorporating this entire package in Aware IM? (MANY charts of different types and very nice and professional ones). Just a thought :).

There are some pretty darn nice looking charts here.

Would love to integrate these charts into some reports i have existing!

Did you ever integrate AnyChart with AwareIM, Henrik?

There is another JS charting library i.e. HighCharts which is somewhat similar to AnyChart.
https://www.highcharts.com/

We have successfully integrated HighCharts with our AwareIM apps. What we have done is, we downloaded the complete library and through Java, connected with DB directly and using SQLs, collected relevant data and populated the charts. Charts are rendered on a HTML page with a URL and displayed this URL on our AwareIM app. Looks like an integral part of app but basically, data is directly fetched from database and rendered on charts.
AnyChart can also be integrated in same manner. Just one way of integration.

No, I haven´t used it but I have used various others like Highcharts, Google charts etc. and basically any library can be used.

I got Anycharts working and it works very nicely.

I will do up a demo in due course.
Cheers,
Mark
