Cross browser testing (Desktop and mobile)

Post by hpl123 »

Hi all,
Here is a tip about a tool to test an application or website etc. over multiple browsers. The tool has a large amount of options when it comes to testing e.g. IE v-7-10, Chrome v. 23-26, Firefox v. 10-20, Safari v. 5-6, IOS v. 5-6, Android v. 3-4 etc.
It also has the option to test locally i.e. you can test a website or application locally without having to have it online.

Just a heads up, I have not tested the tool on an actual application but I can´t see why it shouldn´t work. There is an trial option to try it out before buying it.

If you act quickly (within the next 7 days) you can get this tool at a discount from Mightydeals.

Good tool

Hi all,
I have now tested this tool and can verify that it works for testing applications. It´s a very good tool I must say.

I had one issue when testing an application in Safari where the application didn´t work but when I then tested the application in my "real" Safari browser it did work so there might be a small quirk or two but with this tool it is possible to test a whole lot and the most important browsers Chrome, Firefox and Internet explorer functioned perfectly.

Hi all,
Just for information. I heard back from the developer of BrowseEmAll and he found the issues causing the mobile simulator didn´t work with Aware IM mobile applications and he is fixing it for the upcoming release.
