IE Settings for document viewing

Users have experienced some challenges with Internet Explorer when displaying documents. Most recently I could display PDFs, but not Excel docs in IE8. Users's IE settings may have to be tweaked as follows (IE 8 described):

1) Per this post, make your AwareIM site a trusted in IE8:

--- Tools | Internet Options | Security | Trusted Zones | Sites

--- Add your site to the list

2) Tools | Internet Options | Security tab | Internet Zone.

Click on Custom Level

In the Downloads section, for the listing "Automatic Prompting for File Downloads", click "Enable".
