Can you change the default output on menu item to NEW TAB

That is what I use 99% of the time. When I forget it replaces what is displayed. Am I the only one who wants this?

Or at least the option to set the default globally

I would prefer a configurating module to specify several default settings like :
- Do not add “:” after label
- Right justify labels
- A label has only 1 uppercase (first letter)
- Specify a render script to avoid the extra Close button
- Use default sort field = displayed field
- Label position
- etc..

+1 also give us the ability to ALWAYS Default TODAY's date on a query form, when asking for a date to search.
