Print to PDF does not work in operational mode

I have a calendar view query and have added a button to use the Export PDF option. Great feature - prints the calendar perfectly. But here's the thing. It does not seem to work in operational mode. When I publish to the server and test the button, it just flickers. But works perfectly in testing mode. Can anyone confirm?

Works for us. Check that your browser configuration is the same in both modes - document download must be enabled.

Well, it's the same browser on the same computer.
