So, I was hoping this would work:
My setup:
1) Setup a Visual Perspective with the Top Bar enabled
2) Added an item set as Input Control to the menu
3) Associated the Input Control with a RegularUser.vSearchType (Plain Text, 1 char or 10 chars)
4) Checked "Display choices"
5) Tried many different combinations of the other settings
6) Click "Save"
7) See a "Red X" dialog with a heading of "Validation Error" and "OK" button, and it is otherwise empty.
Is there a feature hidden here? My hope was that I could setup and allow changing an attribute in LoggedInRegularUser, where the other changes I have had working go, that could be used by a process triggered elsewhere in the Toolbar to vary its behavior. I tried an attribute only allowing 2 values of both 1 and 10 characters. I also tried a numeric value with the same results.
SUPPORT: Is there a way this works that I just did not guess yet? I found no references in the Forum or Documentation. Thanks in advance!

Re: Using Top Bar/Toolbar/Input Control/Display Choices Erro
Can you describe step-by-step what we need to do to reproduce the problem?
