Ampersand problems with google maps,

• If you have a google map on the form, enter a '&' ampersand on you address attribute that feeds the google map and try to save it, the 'Sending Data' message and the progress bar just continues indefinitely.

• 

• This cannot be stopped, everything on the browser is grayed out so you cannot click on anything.
  
  The browser has to be closed & you have to login again.
  
  Once you login, you can no longer access this object that has the '&' in the address.
  It is visible in the query but cannot be accessed.

You can workaround this using the REPLACE_PATTERN function.
