I have froms with dropdown menus which autofetches items when you start typing!
So if I start typing V as in Volvo, Volvo shows up. If I then places the mouse over it the cursor changes to a little hand, but if I then click on it the field ends up blank!
If I on the other hand press enter instead, the item sticks.
This must surely be a bug?

Sorry, I mixed things up, actually I was thinking of this post:
http://www.awareim.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=2063
but when here I checked and if I use the "fetch records dynamically as user types" option I get the problem. If I change to "Fetch all records at once" theres no problem.
I can change back and forth between this and it is consistent. Also it happens everytime on every obejct.

Well, this kind of seems a bit basic but.
First you have to have a BO say job and then another BO as an attribute to it, say company. The attribute company should be set to "fetch records dynamically as user types"
Now say that we have two Companies, IKEA and Ica
1. In your running environment bring up the mainform of job to create a new job.
2. Go to the dropdownfield for Company
3. Type the first letter I and you should see both IKEA and Ica bellow
4. Place you mouse over one of them, say IKEA
5. Wait until it changes to a little hand
6. Click on IKEA
7. Now, atleast for me, the field is still blank
If I on the other hand press enter the text IKEA sticks in the field I.E. not clicking with the mouse.
