Configurator wiping out rules

This is a repeatable error using the a local configurator on linux connecting to an AwareIM server on linux version (both are version 2.3 build 966). To repeat do:

Create an object obj1 with attribute A.
Create an object obj2 with attribute A.
Create a BO group grp1 and put objects obj1 and obj2 into it.
Open up the rule editor on obj1 and create rule1 on attribute A.
Save the rule to all BO's in the BOG grp1
Now on obj1, make a copy of rule1, give the copy the name rule2 and change it.
On save, it asks if you want to make the change to all members of the BOG.
If you say yes, it will wipe out rule1 in obj2. Not what I expected.

Is there a workaround for this.

The only workaround is not to paste the rule but create a new rule from scratch.
