When an attribute of type TimeStamp is created, the defaults for Presentation are currently to have "Display format prompt" and "Display calendar control" both checked.
When you click on "calculated", it seems like you would never want these two boxes to be checked?? I find myself always having remember to uncheck them after I check "calculated".
