error message on horizontal radio button attribute

I have a BO attribute with the following characteristics:

Name: FiscalQuarter
Type: Number
Value must be provided = checked
Calculated: unchecked
Format: #
Initial Value: blank
Choices:
1
2
3
4

Presentation: Generate radio buttons / Horizontal layout

I get the following error message when I try to add or edit the BO including FiscalQuarter attribute:



If I change the Presentation to "Generate Combo Box", no error message.

For now I will just use Combo box as a work around but would like to know how to solve for future reference.

Is any radio button selected when you get this message or they are all unselected? If value must be provided one radio button must be checked.
