New User Can't Log in

Hi,

I am trying the eval version on Mac OS X (10.3.9). I followed the instructions and started the server. When I get to the part about starting the congiuration Tool, it asks me for a Business Space, Username and password. the business space name is the one I entered on initial config and the password is the default specified by the Getting Started Guide "password". the username was defaulted to "admin".

I keep getting access denied. Any help would be appreciated.

This is strange. Everything works fine on our systems.

Are you sure that you use exactly the same name for the business space that you used when Aware IM was installed? Maybe try to re-install Aware IM?

If you are sure that everything on your side is correct you can send us your database (if your are using Derby). To do this:
1) Select AwareIM entry in the Applications folder in the FileFinder
2) Select Action/Show Package Contents
3) Go to Contents//Resources/java
4) Zip up the DATA directory and e-mail it to [email protected] (the zip file may be quite large so please send it in a few batches).

I have same problem(access denied) on Windows XP.

Login Error: Access is denied. Please enter valid user name and password.

I entered user name as "admin", password as "password".

As we said in another thread - please zip up the DATA directory and e-mail it to [email protected]. This sort of problem is very serious and we'll have a look at it immediately. But we need the data - without it we can't be of much help.
