Hi,
I am trying to create a report with the report generator.
In general I find reports very clean respect to the word/excel ones (that sometime do not work, for reason I cannot tell). But I have two problems.
1) HTML attributes are not supported. Is this a known bug?
was it solved? see link: viewtopic.php?f=2&t=10343&p=48270&hilit ... tml#p48270
Will be solved soon?
2) In my report (minute of meetings, BO "Meetings") I have the attribute Meetings.Actions that is a list of BO "AI". Ithe BO AI has the attibute Assignees, that is a list of RegularUsers. I would like to print in the report a table of the Action Items (Meetings.Actions), where in each line the list of Assignees is present. I tried with SubReport, but the when I call a subreport, a table inside the subreport is not printed!
Any comment or reccomandation is appreciated.
Thanks
Sergio
Report Generation
Re: Report Generation
AHere an update on this issue:
latest build of awareIM and resinstalling OpenJDK improved the behaviour. Before i got a java error.
Now no more java error, but it seemed the html were not printed out.
Then I tried to increase the size of the box in the report editor and I can see the picture of the html attribute.
The problem now is that the box does not resize to fit all the content in the field.
As you can see here is the report editor: But the export has the html field cropped:
Is that a limit of the report export or am I doing something wrong?
Thanks
Sergio

Re: Report Generation
Same here.
I found that even with "Stretchable" enabled, the HTML field does not "grow" or stretch to allow full contents of the field.
This is kinda a bummer.
Version 8.6, bld 2945, so maybe this has been resolved in later builds.

Re: Report Generation
What's the Position property of the element. Is it Floating?
Can you send a test BSV that demonstrates the problem?
