Mail rich text issue

Hi,

When I receive mail from a gmail or webmail, it comes through into my CRM. If I send from my Mac (Mail app) or from other machines in the office (Outlook) they don't come through. If I set the mail apps to send as plain text it comes through. But I can't ask every one of our 1000+ clients to now change their email settings. Is there a way to fix this? I'm in 5.7 and can't try 6 without upgrading my whole OS.
