Aware IM Pre V8 Huddle - Bring Your Own Lunch!

We are looking at holding an informal but intense 1 day Pre V8 Aware IM Huddle.

Location: Brisbane, Australia
Date: April 1st 2017
Time: 8:00 am -6:00 pm
Cost: Most likely free... depending on cost of venue hire.

Vlad has agreed to join us for an informal get together for a day. He will walk us through where Awaresoft are up to with the new V8 version.

Have not finalised the programme for the day yet but at least an hour or two from Vlad on the upcoming version. Some Show & Tell and will arrange for a few interesting topics for discussion.
Breakout and hands on time for problem solving. Good opportunity to network with some other Awareologists.

We will follow the days work with a few beers and a meal at a local haunt. We will go Dutch!

I have had many people ask me about when the next Aware IM Developers International Conference will be. Basically, I am not sure. If at all, it would be after V8 is released. Also, am a bit busy
to organise at the moment. Hence, this is basically and appetiser.

Honestly, I think the best way and most cost effective way for Vlad to get feedback from us, is to create a detailed video, post it on Youtube and we all can offer feedback and suggestions. This way, if this session gets canceled, we still can provide feedback.

This is how all companies do it now. At each milestone, they share video and get great feedback from users, BEFORE product is released.

An honour to host such a great group. Incredible progress in my understanding of Aware and I was motivated by the demonstrations of substantial applications built with it. Vladimir's V8 configuration tool will be a quantum leap in productivity for users, look forward to beta testing. The day took me to a new level of admiration of Aware IM, the guy behind it and the people that use it.

Unless I missed it, I watched through the 3 videos and I don't see Vlad doing a demo of of V8. A bit of talk and Q&A and a notepad showing list of stuff, but not a through demo from A to Z.

Surely you have not been away from Aware and in .Net that long that you have forgotten what the Configurator looked like Ben.

You must remember, V8 IS PURELY A DEVELOPERS FOCUSSED CONFIGURATOR UPGRADE.

The session 1 I downloaded, seems like it was towards the end of the session and not from the beginning. The other points that I forgot how Aware looks like and V8 is a configuration upgrade, wasn't related to my post. I was just saying the video seems like was cut off or not fully covered the session.
