hi
found this on a search for "native"
i was making an APK so I could have access to the camera - but from this thread (I forgot I read this long ago) it appears you are able to use aware to scan a code from a normal Aware Web app (on a phone).
1) I need to scan a regular barcode - not QRCode.
do you know what changes need to be made?
2) And can u share your integration with aware?

Re: Integrated QR Code Reader in Native Mobile App
I've spent a couple of hours on this now.
After the APK issues, I thought I might get this working with just some JS, but I can't.
I'm worried about a line I saw somewhere that a mobile device will not allow access to the phone if the website doesn't have SSL. And my test site has no cert yet, so I fear thats not going to be a solution. i want to use the newer "getUserMedia" method (https://serratus.github.io/quaggaJS/exa ... cator.html).
AND, I don't need QRReader, just a HTML5 JS barcode reader.
