pop-up Render option in Custom Queries

Is there a way to force the output of a custom HTML query button to a pop-up? The User Guide only provides `main`, `new_tab`, and specific panel as options.

I need to be able to open something in a pop-up from a custom button in a custom query.

Any ideas?
