HowTo diacritics

This one is for speakers of languages with diacritics. I hope there are users which uses these symbols in their records.

I have a plugin which calls a webservice and populates a BO. When form is displayed, diacritics are not encoded right.
Mysql is utf-8.
I have upgraded the Jdbc connector.

Has anyone a clue about this? Maybe even english speakers...
