When Row is Expanded: Expand Settings

I am playing around with the row expansion feature and noticed that the far left column with the icon is way too big. But I do not see anywhere to modify this, even the icon.

Anyone know where I can toggle this? The sales portal example has it right. But I cannot find the settings.

Secondly, does this happen with all queries or just one?

Update: I have a feeling your first column in the query has no data and you have turned of the heading label. Can you check?

See below. I dont have any issues with the data loading. It just that the far left column, the one that has the expander icon, is taking too much space.

It is happening to the two objects I have tried to implement the row expander feature on.

Support, can you please chime in here and explain why the tick expander icon is doing this and how to fix it? You obviously got it figured in the Sales Portal example.

That is Kendo theme, which is probably the best in terms of spacing/proportions, etc., except for the orange (which could be changed).
Is the expand row icon column also excessively wide in Bootstrap and, say, Silver themes?

maybe it's an anomaly to do with the query itself being in a tabbed form.
can you send a picture of the entire screen.
I have lots of different dummy bsv's that I use for testing and bug finding.
I can probably simulate your layout quickly and confirm if it does it for me, and narrow down the conditions under which it occurs.

also, I suggest doing an experiment:
Add a Delete PANEL operation button to the query at the top , but tick the "Applies to Multiple Items" checkbox in the dialog for adding the operation, so that a column of checkboxes is added which can be ticked to delete multiple items.
Does it still do it then?

This is a form with an expanding row that opens up the editing form for the expanded object. It just similar to the Sales Portal example, where you expand the line item and then see the form for the product.

so..
- 'Well Profile' is a form which opens in the only Tab of the Main frame (the tab itself is hidden)?
- the 'Well Profile' form itself has multiple sections/tabs?
- the 'Zones' tab of the 'Well Profile' form contains a reference attribute query with expanding rows, which when expanded display the editing form for the reference attribute object?
- the reference attribute query has its Title Bar hidden?

Jose, you need to create a small test BSV and send it to Support to show the problem. Then need the BSV to see what CSS is being generated live to fix the problem.

Do the other columns have a set width?

My guess is that this is the result of the other columns having a set width and the expand column "auto-sizing" to fill the width specified for the grid.
