I noticed that for combos that are based off of a static list defined in the BO attribute, I can tab over to it in the form and type in my value.
But when I tab over to a combo that is populated by another BO I have to use the mouse. Why? How can I set it up to continue using the keyboard?
It will make a big difference in terms of data entry speed for lots of my forms to avoid using the mouse unless necessary.
I've looked but have not seen a setting to toggle this. Anyone have a clue?
Combos, using keyboard instead of mouse
Re: Combos, using keyboard instead of mouse
you can set the tab sequence in the form setup under "Tab order"
Re: Combos, using keyboard instead of mouse
ACDC,
Thanks! I I got that working, but the problem I'm having is with the actual combos. When I tab over to one that is populated by a BO instead of a static list defined in the BO attribute, I try to type something and nothing happens.
For example, when I tab over the 'State' combo, instead of being able to type 'T' or 'Texas', nothing happens. I have to use my mouse to find and select it.
Is there a way to get this to recognize keystrokes?
