Select 1st row, can it be used with a filter

Select 1st row, can it be used with a filter

There is an option with a query to "Select first record" which works fine when you 1st load a query. However, if I have a filter, it doesn't select the 1st row. If I clear the filter it doesn't select the 1st row.

Can this be changed?
