After a big fight today with the Excalibur Hotel, which I lost.... Heidi has pointed to the reason for the rate hike.

I have checked around with the idea of changing hotels. However, for every hotel I checked the room rate was even more expensive that the Excalibur.

The reason......

The National Association of Broadcasters 2015 convention is being held same week and they are expecting 98,000 delegates!!!

Even the Orleans is sold out.

So, one could argue that we should think ourselves lucky.
