Linux Daemon

The Linux daemon is mentioned as a new feature in 2.0, but I can't find mention of it anywhere in the 2.0 documentation.

Would you please provide details on the proper configuration? I'm running AwareIM 2.0 and a LAMP configuration on a hosted server.

Mentioning Linux daemon on the web site is a mistake and we'll remove it. There is no support for Linux daemon yet. However, Aware IM can always run in a non-graphical mode - you need to start startAwareIMNoGUI.sh script. You can also place the script into the Linux startup file and Aware IM will be started during the operating system initialization.
