how to evaluate old and new (changed) number value on a form

In a business rule in a form, I need to test if a user has edit an attribute numeric value, and use the "old" and "new" value in a comparison test. Ex, if the value was increased, I need to take action in other logic. I see a WAS CHANGED, but I do not see a way to test for Object.Attribute.OldValue.
